Finding Nemo is definitely about ethnic strife (predators vs. prey, mobile fish vs. immobile coral, bottom dwellers vs. top swimmers, pelagic vs. coastal, paper vs. plastic, and so on) and a search for identity (little Nemo himself). It is, of course, the character of Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) who tries to attract a whale in the film by imitating its song - "Helllooooooww… Can-yoooo-hearrrr-meeeeooo…" You would think all the comedy would come from the clown fish, but not so.
